Rear Disk Brakes

Is there an installation for rear disk brakes on a 2005 Cav? Would it be worth it?

Im running Baer kits on both front(13") and rear(12") I got mine for show purposes but they definately decrease your stopping distance. Id get both front and back since it would look retarded with stock 10.5" in the front and 12" in the rear.

I dont think that upgrading the backs to disk will do much for you. If you need more stopping power, I would get some slotted and/or drilled rotors and ceramic or whatever pads for the front and see how that treats you. If you still need more, I would do the big brake swap for the front and the back. 13" rotors up front with drums in back would be gay, but so would 12" in back and 10.5" up front. The problem with the big brakes on driving wheels is they will decrease the horsepower a little bit. That extra mass will take more power to rotate the wheel, and so leaving you with less on the pavement.

OT, LTZ2FLIP4 your car looks pretty bad ass.

Thor06, you should wait a week until the bodyshop gets it in primer. RSX headlights, Scion tc tails, G6 sunroof, civic wing, grand am inteiror and mirrors, sunfire 1/4 window swap, custom metal widebody....I cant wait to put some paint down.

Where did you get your Baer front and back upgrades?
