Unhappy '91 Metro just won't start

(1991 Geo Metro XFI - 150,000 miles)
I'm a pizza delivery guy, only 19, and my Geo Metro was the love of my life, but I was hit in a very minor collision, upon opening the hood, the only thing different was the battery was knocked from it's original place, but it was never secured that well.

So the battery had problems, but after a quick fix of plugging the cable into a random fuse-box, it worked. (I know next to nothing about cars, by the way) But it wouldn't turn over. There was juice going into the coil, but nothing coming from the coil to the distributor, so I figured that was the problem, but it still didn't work after getting a new coil.

I checked just about every little thing in this car for over a week now and my life is at a stand-still right now until I can get this working... I really have no idea what the problem is. Distributor seems fine, spark plugs seem fine, coil's fine, all wires associated are probably fine, I don't know what's up, but... please help! T_T
