I got this finished over a week ago, but work has prevented me from getting these pics taken and posted. This is my 'grand touring' interpretation of the C5--fast but sophisticated. The color is Tamiya Gunmetal with a mix of satin black and custom MM flat red. Fujimi's 18' OZ Superturismos fill the wheels wells, overtop the accompanying Brembos with red calipers.
Fitting the Fujimi wheels gave me no end of frustration, but I eventually got them all to fit in almost exactly the right position. Unfortunately for me, painting and construction seem to slightly change the fit of the body, so the location of the wheels suffered marginally, but not noticeably. Enjoy! The first pic is inside, the rest are taken outside. My next project may be tackling Italeri's Diablo and slapping on Murcie wheels. Any suggestions for that one? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Completed '98 Vette Roadster
Very nice, awesome paint job...However, I think the red top is a bit...garish.

Great looking build. Love the colour and the 2 tone interior......just not sure of the top though. Then again I think the top should always be down on a vert anyways. Interesting choice in wheels as well. Not you typical vette wheel.....very nice
