engine dress up kits?

looking through some of the tuner magazines and honda tuner catalogs. i see items for 3.2 dohc engines. mostly for acura, TL and such.

do any of these items fit and work for the 3.2 v6 in our passports? are they roughly the same engine as other engines of the same year?

is a 99 passport 3.2 v6 the same as a 99 acura integra/ TL 3.2 v6 and 99 prelude 3.2 v6?

and being a dohc engine, could i use the open cam gears that most other honda engines have available? like this: http://www.streetcustoms-usa.com/go94pr2vtdoc.html (i know the ones pictured are for a 2.2)

what about underdrive pulleys like this: http://www.streetcustoms-usa.com/92hoprdobora.html

i'm sure i know the answer to my questions, but i'd thought i'd give a try. what do you think?

The Honda Passport is nothing more than an Isuzu Rodeo with different badges. The 3.2L engine in your Passport is an Isuzu engine, not Honda.

I think the only thing I've seen done on the Isuzu 3.2/3.5L is to paint the plastic engine cover.

The only real aftermarket parts of Isuzu are mostly off road items. And the parts, for the most part, were made by Isuzu owners who then started a business.

Yep, and you can get generic hose dress-up kits & chrome or paint anything you like. IMO- the 1998+ isuzu 3.2L is one of the cleanest, prettiest( ) truck engines around as is. Ever see a newer blazer, exploder, patchfinder, montero or 4-runner engine compartment? YUCK!

imagine if you will--the look on the wifes face as i run out to tell her i want to spend more money on the truck...

yeah, not a pretty sight.
