t-bird trans
Ken, Just bought a 94 SC had this searching/jump to neutral problem..... 4 trans shops on phone, 2 in person ( test drive ) have to look ,pull pan etc. $50 to look and up to $1600 to rebuild.Went On SCCA.com ( super coupe of club of amer.) FORUMS and found the MLPS = Manual Lever Selection Sensor aka ( neutral saftey switch ) $ 32.95 Plus Tax @ parts store Takes about an hour,2 bolts, little tight space to work in ,located on trans side ( driver). Shifts Like Butter and bangs in when you get on it, OPPPSSSSSS... SC version anyway. These guys at SCCA are really into SC ( as well as t-bird LX ) all use same 4R70W electronic Trans.and this is common on early versions ( new one will have red rubber gasket showing that won't be on your old one.) Hope It Works as easy for you as me. Anything i can help with, drop a line. Roger

Re: 94 t-bird trans
That should be www.sccoa.com. Super Coupe Club Of America.
