2001 Electrical Meltdown
My Elantra started having electrical problems. The Air Bag light would come on at around 35 MPH and the A/C blower would go into turbo mode (as if there were a position 10 on the knob)
 . When I backed down below 35 the problems stopped. By the time I got home my car would not restart. I replaced the battery, but I think the alternator may also be bad. The low beams do not work even though I replaced both bulbs a few thousand miles ago. Any suggestions? Thanks.

sorry, no specific suggestions except that i also have had electrical difficulties with my 01 elantra. unfortunately, it seems to be one of the weak spots for this first generation design. again, since my electrical problems were different (mine were electric door locks, and ignition-electrical), i don't have any suggestions except to hope you are still under bumper to bumper warranty...good luck
