My ES300 has 30K miles. New brakepads put on 4000 miles ago. They work fine, but are now squealing when I come to a stop at low speed. Mechanic says nothing wrong - just put up with it. Any suggestions on how to stop squealing? thanks....

Some pads are like that.
Take them off & put some anti-squeel on the pad/shim. If that doesn't work, get new pads. I highly suggest Hawk HPS + track pads evne for street use. Very long life, soft cold, grabby with good feedback if you warm them up for racing.
