91 Trooper question - general
Hi,
Just posted a question on paint.
Just bought a 91 Trooper.
I am new to these, any suggestions on how I should 'check it over'? It has 193k and a new clutch (its a 5 speed), waterpump, alternator, brakes - within the 20k. I am just looking for any comments on unique issues to these.
It seems real solid.
On thing that has me slightly confused is a toggle switch - on the under side of the dash (by the steering column) - and a corresponding small, red light on the dash, above the radio. Former owner said its a anti theft device. is this standard? problem is it seems to drain the battery. I'd like to remove it or bypass it. Suggestions?
