Talking Nearly raced an 86' ferarri testarossa and got a new PB

Coming back to Vallejo I saw an 86' model red ferarri testarossa with a plate that had a heart and then "2RUN U"

He was going really slow so I was able to catch up to him and pull up along side of him. I did and revved alittle and he immedeatly went right towards a residential area. Oh well.

I did some checking up on them and are they really only 13.4 cars? Anyone know what they trap?

I also got a new PB this weekend: [email protected]

Re: Nearly raced an 86' ferarri testarossa and got a new PB

eh, i'm looking around and seeing them trap around 102, it should be a piece of cake for ya... ....especially with your torque advantage..

and DAMN a new PB...very nice how did you go from 11.9 to 11.7? must've been ideal track conditions or it was a perfect run for ya....nice run jeff i hope to see ya in the low 11s in no time .....by the way what do you think about CSCs in GPs? I was thinking about supercharger upgrades and was trying to figure out if either an M90 or some kind of CSC would be better...and i've heard that those CSCs are loud as hell

the testarossa was mainly made to be a top speed/hooligan car. It weighed in at a very unferrari-like 3660 lbs.

Good job Jeff. I think you might be the fastest car here on AF. You're like .003 ahead of JekylandHyde, and now that Hypsi is no longer with us, you may just be the fastest. Congrats.

I love those Testarosas...one of my favorite models of Ferrari. I dont care if they are some of the slowest, I just think they are so damn hot!

That's sick. 11.7 sec. in a grocery getter is unbelieveable. What power is that thing putting to the wheels???? It's gotta be well over 400whp IMO.

Nice run Jeff, congrats on teh new PB. I tried to run a Testarosa 2 years back in my vr4 and the guy wouldn't bite either...so disappointing.

uhh not sure what you mean by this, i thought u hd a GTP. Because it sounds like you want to upgrade your supercharger to a m90, but thats the supercharger you have right now.

Awesome job Jeff!

I'm hoping for a new pb Tues night, we'll see. Just swapped injectors and the truck definitely picked up some power down low and in the midrange, so we'll see. Plus the weather is supposed to be pretty good

i should rephrase my question.....

should i stay with the m90 and just keep getting smaller pulleys? or should i go with some sort of CSC?

Re: Re: Nearly raced an 86' ferarri testarossa and got a new PB

Thanks.

It was alot of work getting it to run like that in 75* weather. I didnt add much power(only alittle compression) but I did remove 200-300lbs.

Good luck with the PBs, that is one fast truck!

Man your GTP always impresses me, whooping ferraris and running 11s, you just make it seem so easy, which its SO not!!

and a question...Is ur GTP auto? I thought all new Grand Prix's were auto only...U just said u revved so I wasnt sure if you put it into neutral then back to drive
