Hi all, I am new here. So glad see so many enthusiastic guys here.
And my problem is that by 99 buick regal's high beam of passenger side(right) dsn't work. But it work well when I switch it to the driver side(left). I guess maybe something wrong with the right side's wire. And do you guys have any ideas. Also if i wanna fix it, is there any manual helpful. Thanks a lot. |

One thing you can do is disconnect the main electrical connector on the backside of the right headlamp assembly and check for corrosion or poor contact. Next thing would be to check the 12v with the highbeams active either at that connector or directly on the lamp socket. The headlamp assembly is easy to remove. Just pull up on the two back inserts-retainers. The only service manuals I've found to be helpful with wiring diagrams of the lighting system is the GM/Helms service manual for the Regal. Welcome to the forum.

Re: Re: need help
Guess what, I send it to garage, and they waste a lot of time and my money, and nobody know what's wrong with it. Huh, gm dealer, I guess they just know how to account money.
I can only depend on myself. Quote:

Re: need help
Did you try replacing the Pig tail?
I dunno, if it went to a dealer or a garage, it should have taken them no time to figrue it out... even if the cobbed it offa the other high beam or something. Bill |
