window clips

The white plastic clips on the driver window of my 2001 Alero have broke. It seems the regulator is fine the cables are still moving fine and I can feel where the plastic pieces fit onto the cables. Where can I find these plastic pieces? Or is there a better way to attach the window to the cable? the little plastic clips seem pretty shoddy to me.

If you go to a local parts store that sells Motromite brand parts they can order the clips you need out of the 2005 supplemental catalog. I know that Oreilly Auto parts sells Motormite.

Re: window clips

Whatever you do, don't go to the dealer to get new clips. Check ebay, you can get the entire regulator assembly with the clips on it cheaper than you will pay for just the clips. I think I payed like $40 or more for each clip!

What is the regulator? On my car I have a clip that attaches to the bottom of the glass and rides on the track which broke, is this what you are talking about???
