tuning on apexi safc2

ive read everything on tuning the safc2 but nothing really helpfull ive had it in for about a week and its great but im wondering if it can do more, ok i no my mods arent in my sig im sorry but here goes i have a 97 gst with apexi safc2, greddy type s bov with piping, apexi 3" turbo back exhaust, intake+ k&n filter, what can i do with the sfac2, the main reason i got it is because im getting the evo 3 turbo around x mas time so im just getting my car ready for it im going to run it with the apexi safc2 a pocket logger, 550's 255rewired fuel pump. so for now without that turbo is there any sort of power i can get out of it with thoes mods at the top by setting anything to anything, and also it says it helps with vented bov's???thanks for any input

Man, that post is a mess. Give me a minute to let the headache die down

Alright. You can't really do anything at all with it until you have the logger. If you do, then there still isnt a whole lot you can do. Use the low map to get the trims at 0. With the high map you can lean out a bit since the AFR is pretty rich stock. The AFC does nothing for vented BOVs on our cars.

Once you get the injectors you'll need to use the AFC's high and low map to compensate for them. Dropping everything by 18% is a good start. With the 255 pump and stock regulator you'll find that you'll need to drop the low map significantly more negative to compensate for the ~50 psi base pressure you'll end up with.

To actually tune with the AFC requires a good understanding of how it and the ECU works. Kyle T did what I think is a good writeup on RKO. www.racingknowledge.org, DSM section. It might even be in a sticky at the top of this forum.
