Re: b18c into a 1991 crx dx

has been done. converting the obd2 swap into the obd0 chassis will be harder than worrying about passing smog. smog is easy to pass.

you want want to live longer and stress free, try finding a obd0 or obd1 swap.

search is my friend.

If you wanted advice on making it "street legal" maybe you should tell us where the hell you live so we know what your emissions laws are like.

Here's a good piece of advice: don't make retarded posts on topics that have been covered several times before.

Re: b18c into a 1991 crx dx

a serious search will help you. that is serious advice.

many problems to your build. perhaps others will enlighten you. if you did a serious search, you wouldnt post such a stubborn responses

the above responses to your questions, were really good responses.

i believe you are looking for a hold my hands type help.

ask around, no one got the walk my hands type of help. 99% of folks on forums, did a search for basic info. then, thats where the more technical stuff comes through. its ok though, most new people get offended by those types of responses. you will understand one day

good luck.

So your going to buy a Type-R engine just to rebuild it and turbo it. You'd be better off with a GSR, if you searched, youd know that. Also, you'll need forged rods and lower compression pistons to turbo AND have a 150 shot of N20, once again, if you searched youd know that. And wait, did you say your getting a racing header and racing intake as well as a turbo? You shouldnt even need to search to know thats not possible. Do you know everything else that goes into making a sucsessful turbo kit? Also, you say your going to have AWD, I hope you know how hard that is. But thats cool, let us know if that actually works for you. Also, ditch the 20'' chromes, those alone will make your as slow as it was before the swap.

Re: b18c into a 1991 crx dx

Yea you should search more and learn before you throw something out there and think its going to work. With everything you put IT IS NOT going to work. Like HondaRacing101 said just get a GSR its a lot better for turbo because you don't have to worry about the high compression of a Type R. AWD is possible, but lots of work and money I would bet you die of a headache before it works out. 20" rims looks UGLY on any Honda. Get 16" if you want rims they are so much cheaper, it would make you go faster then if you had 20" and 16" looks way better on hondas. 150 shot of N20 is just riduculous with already a turbo Type R.

I also hope you know that all that stuff will cost like $10,000 plus. With your knowlege level , I REALLY hope you dont have that much money. Anyway, go learn alot then, if you are serious, do a B18C GSR, Slap on a basic turbo kit at like 7-8 psi. if your car is still running then congratulations. then get some 16" LIGHTweight wheels, upgrade your brakes, coilovers, race seat, dont make a fiberglass anything. at most get a head unit and two speakers.

holy fuck 50% of that won't work unless newton was wrong and the other 50% proves darwin was wrong.

buying a real itr motor to stuff in b16 parts why?
Your not going to do any of this so why talk about it? Do you think we will like you more want to hang out with you? Sure you might pull one over on other 7th graders but not to a group like us esp the O.G.s like myself.

Lets pretend that you even have 1,000,000 dollars you couldn't do this because most of the things you want to do can't work at all.

go over to clubcivic or someother fagot ricer fest where everyone else is in the same boat 25 still trying to pass 11th grade living with mommy and daddy spending your allowance on pot and then bragging about the beat ass car your great aunt left you when she died.

PUNCTUATION IS YOUR FRIEND!!!! That was the hardest post I have ever had to read. So you are planning on doing an awd conversion to a crx, however you don't even know the basic components of a turbo system? Good luck with that. And you are buying a Type R motor just to go and replace all of the engine internals.
So once again, search > you!!

God damn! Another 3rd grader trying to impress friends I take it????? Hope so because some of that lacks even the most basic of common sense principles, such as buying a ITR motor and stuffing it with B16 parts then my personal favorite Headers and intake with a turbo kit?????? LISTEN my friend I suggest you STOP playing NFSU2 (the only place were a set of mods like this are possible) go back to kindergarten and stop wasting everyone elses time with your posts! Have fun trying to make your CRX AWD too, especially since mags have tried that before (having unlimited resources and knowledge) and barely had any sort of success.
