ngk wire problem

So I went to ngk's site and foudn the parts my spyder needs it says me80 wire set..

So I went to sparkplugs.com ordered the wire set and it comes. It says me80. So it's definately the wireset that they said i needed..

When I take the old wires out the part that plugs onto the car (not the plug) is like a point... The new wires basically make a ring. As if they should go around something. The new wires wont fit...

Do i need something else to make them work. Or is ngk's site wrong? I'm confused. If you need a bettter explanation i can give it or I can get pictures when it's light out tommorow.

Okay more info now that Im more awake..

The connection on my old wires going to the car (not the plugs) is male. My new wires are female.

NGK swears to me that these are the right wires. What do 4g64/3 wires look like? Has something on my car been screwed up or is this how they are suppose to look?
