possible clogged cat
My motor has been running hotter than normal..i put a new t-stat, checked te fans make sure they turn on , etc..new coolant, new hoses, pump,.still runs hot...radiator has been flow tested...it has power but seems to be a lil loagy compared to what i remember...if i load it up by holding the brake and gas for even 30 seconds the temp spikes almost 3/4 of the way up in no time at all..does this sound like a bad converter?

Re: possible clogged cat
either that or a worn out water pump. have it checked with a pyrometer. Or you can install an air pressure guage in the o2 sensor hole.(The one in between the engine and catalytic converter) Start the car, if there's more than 2-3 PSI, it's stopped up.
