My new manifold

Click the thumbnails to enlarge the picture.

The manifold is all 304l Stainless. Flanges are thick as hell. I'm going to get it ceramic coated along with the turbine housing on the turbo I am buying. Its all waiting on paychecks...

Re: My new manifold

It was $695+shipping. I bought it. Not enough equipment+practice to weld that good.lol

I'm putting a T3/T04E 50trim w/.63ar on it. yea yea, its the ricer turbo. But after careful analysis and a lot of homework, it appears that the commonplace turbo was commonplace for a reason.

Power added. Hmmm IDK... But it will prolly be a lot considering what I have now.lol I'm riding on a cast Revhard with no prepping. So my engine is prolly pretty constipated right now... I'm hoping to break 300whp at about 10psi. Good power without a lot of boost=nice.

I will be welding my downpipe up tho. Prolly be using a oxy-acetalene(sp*) torch.

Re: My new manifold

Not bad on the price. I've seen similar headers go for about a grand. They were powerder coated or chromed tho. You should get a ceramic coat put on it. Does wonders for engine compartment temps.

Re: My new manifold

Yea, I said I was getting it coated.lol Except I am doing it mainly for added thermal efficiency of the turbine. More energy entering the turbine housing=quicker spool/more efficient setup. Coating will prolly only be like $100 for the mani and $60 for the turbine housing. I got a deal on this manifold because I orginally requested a T4 flanged manifold and they accidentally put a T3 flange on it. Everyone uses T3 flanges, soo.... But then they called back and offered it to me for $100 off. I said "Fcuk it, I'm going T3!" lol I'm happy with it.
