f22 series performance HELP!
ok the idea is a accord coupe with a f22 series motor HOFULLY a F22B1 out of a EX into a 90-93 accord which can't be too difficult now here is the deal.
i have looked at the honda engines for many and many more hours of late and the f22 series motors have a 8.8:1 compression ratio. This means good for boosting. Now what parts out there is there to help me keep this motor from blowing up? I need vendors that you knwo who make forged pistons and rods and all the other goodies i need so it can hold the large amount of boost i shall run on that motor. Now that year range of accord had alternator problems - where should i get a very good replacement one?(preferably aluminum) One last question the coupe weighs 2,738 pounds how low can i get that by just gutting it and having a fiber glass hood and bumpers? |

allright dude
first a good place to start is to talk to hasport thats where I got alot of my mods I didnt want to do myself done. weight issues try to gut everything my car now weighs 1941 lbs. with major gutting but if you just want to replace seats and get rid of your rears and plastics, glove box carpets and oother shit you will prolly lose around 1-200 lbs.
