Windstar 96 wreckw
well i got in a wreck not bad and all but, we are repairing the van we got the new radiator, new bumper, hood and battery. its all hooked up and it wont start, i get it too go GGUGUGUGUGUGUG thats it, like it wants to run but it cant. now my air bags did deploy can anyone give me any info on what i have to try to get it too work?

for the fuel pump there is a little nob up front that i took off and then pushed it in with a screw driver and gas came out other then that no.

The fuel pump reset switch is located by the driver side kick panel, just behind the remote hood release lever. There should be a hole in the kick panel that you can get a finger through to reset this, this at least is where it is on a 98'....I see no reason they should have changed the location....

For the 95 to 97 Windstar the fuel reset is in the right rear panal where the jack is stored. Remove the panel and look in toward the tail lamp, the reset button is mounted there. For the 98 model it was moved becase FORD was dealing with alot of vans in Florida that would not start. Seems a group of kids kept smacking the right rear quarter panal on Windstars because they knew it would trip the reset button. Then in 99 till the current FREESTAR they moved it back to the rear with a button that needs a little more than a smack to trip it.
