Digital speedo?

Did all the S13 coupes come with digital speedo's? Because there is a guy who is trying to sell me an S13 coupe with a speedometer that isnt digital. Its a 1991 and hes telling me it only has 83,000 miles, manual, and only 2000$? I think hes fruading here but id like your guys's opinions..

Nope, not all of em did. In fact its pretty rare to find S13's that still have the HUDs, I forgot what year it is that had em....but if thats what you're worried about then no its not a fraud in regards to that idea.

when was the first time? Because i also had this same topic a while ago but we never came to a conclusion..

So if they have digital speedo, that means they automatically have HUD? Thats something i never knew though.

HUD and digital speedo are not the same thing. All coupes (or like 99.999999999999%) of them have the digital speedo, but the HUD was an option that alot of people didn't take. The HUD is the heads up display on the windshield.

91-93 coupes had them. i think it might have only been se coupes actually.. sounds like a good deal but not a 'too good to be true' sorta thing.. check it out and see what the deal is

Yeah thats why i asked, i was under the impression that all coupes with Digital were also HUD equiped. Thanks.

My bad, I thought by digital you meant HUD, so uh, there is a difference? lol. I've only heard of them having a HUD, first time hearing about a digi speedo though. Go check it out and give us a report.

i have the HUD and digital speedo on my 240 hatch =)

its is rair2 find the HUD on 240 coups.

My '89 coupe has HUD with the digital speedo.It actually works too

Did you put that in or did it come like that cause my understanding was that it was only in coupes.

no, i found it @ the junk yard (from a coup) , and i was like, i want that!

so, i took it out, w the HUD, BUT!!!! BUT!!! its window specific!!! the HUD dzn't work well, bcus u need a sticker 2 make it deflect off the glass, i got the DEFIE HUD sticker and sticker it to the glass so i can see the HUD.

i car less about the HUD i just like the digital Speedo, u know that u can switch from Km/h to Mil/h yay!

People are like theres a sticker there!! theres a STICKER THERE!!! I have yet to see my sticker or yet to see one period...
I have looked for over 30 minutes using different types of light(Black Light,LED,Flourescent, Halogen and another one...
cant remember it right now) to expose it. I have a 91 Coupe SE and it has it. Yea the KMH is a good one to pull on a
friend...say your gonna drive him or her for like20 minutes...and you gonna get on an onramp...you tell them "Oh shit look
at that!" then when they look change it and once "They go what" go "oh you must've missed it" then immediately
"lets see how fast we can get to 100". And if its night its easy to trick them because on the Windshield it doesnt say
KMH or MPH. I had one friend who likes cars...mostly Bimmers and Volkswagens but he was like "HOLY SHIT! 0-100
in like 7 SECONDS OMFG" he started freaking out it was awesome.
