A/C Magnetic Clutch Pulley Assembly Repair

Is it possible to replace the pulley assembly of the A/C magnetic clutch
in its present location without removing it from the engine.
There is nothing wrong with my A/C except for the bearing noise coming from the pulley assembly.
The service manual shows the replacement of the pulley assembly with the A/C compressor in a bench vise.

Or I'll just wait for the pulley assembly or A/C compressor to fail before venturing on repair.
