check engine light 'ON'

Yesterday i had my oil changed and went home aroud 5 miles.
This morning my wife took the car and said the check engine light came on.
First i checked if there was oil just in case the guy forgot to put some.
It was ok so i resetted by unpluging the battery and took off for 50 miles and no light came on. About 2 miles from home the light came on and the car is running well. Did the garage guy touch something or is it a coincidence.

Yeah, my 05' Sonata did the same thing just these past couple of days, but I noticed it came on after I got gas put in the car, and when I got it checked out (the light turned off after like 6 days) the mechanic said that for security reasons or something, if you get gas and forget to turn off your car (which I did, but I turned it off after realizeing it) your car will think theres a leak or something, so I guess Sonata has a security feature that lets you know if your car has a gas leak. Maybe thats your problem... hopefully its just a misunderstanding like that with the cars computer, and not something thats going to cost you some pretty pennies =P Good luck. -Ayla
