help a/c cool not cold tried all the usual things
the a/c on the 94 alternates between cool and cold. depending on the day or the whim of the gods i guess. the compressor is working the clutch cycles in and out, the evaporater fans works, the refridgerant shows the high side of the green zone on the cheap autostore guage. no leaks apparent as the system is holding this pressure. it just seems that at times the system will work properly and i get extremly (ice cold) cool air. the majority of the time its more coolish than cold. This is true of both the front and rear air units. I know that at sometime in the past the system has had stop leak put in as well as UV dye to check for leaks. the question is can the orifice tube clog up? does the chrysler use an orifice tube or an expansion valve? should i pressure flush (back flush) the system and recharge? Replace the (expansion valve/orifice tube)
