your probably not gona believe me...

so last nite after work. i jumped off the freeway...like usual...drivin home like usual. i caught the next red light. This 99-04 stang non-GT(the ones that didnt suck) pulls up next to me. In all honesty i prefer that body style mustang to the newer ones. I looked over to admire...then i saw it...possible the ugliest wing in existance...it TOTALLY killed the image. Not to mention it sounded like he had a 500lb sub ( exaggerating hah) w/o any insulation so it sounded pretty crappy. light goes green...he takes off aggresively..then slows back down...so i passed him at 40...hes still behind...hmmm maybe if i taunt him...so i take it up to 65....then drop it to 50...got him...the i see his lights coming up pretty quick..but i wont have any of this fly-bye buisness. so when hes about 3 cars back i floored it he slowly pulls about a car on me and cant pull anymore...its about 90...and he backed off...i couldnt believe it...realizing yes im doing more than twice the speed limit. i slowed down to 50 again. he came back again for round 2 pretty much the same result we stayed about even this time tho. no thumbs up from him..in fact he diidnt even look over...well at least he wasnt a dick about it. i wish i would have taken my cam that day =/ ehhh on a side note he had at least one passanger. it was too dark to see the back. and i was alone.

Killing a high 15 second car is fine when you drive a high 15 second car yourself, you and that 91HBSi dude need to realize that...I'm sick of this "congratulations, you just killed a_____second car, way to go" sarcastic bullshit...I mean what was he gonna do, assrape a 911 turbo? I swear to God, this board has become littered with a bunch of snobs that thumb their nose at you if you don't kill something that's 12 seconds or faster...it's ridiculous.

Sorry, not everyone has scanners and has the time to stop working and bust out timeslips and dyno sheets. Just time to stop working and post on forums.

Re: your probably not gona believe me...

As -Josh- mentioned, it sounds like you beat a V6 mustang. That's very believable with just about any car.

Re: your probably not gona believe me...

Do you have any? I just wanna know what your running, you can post and scan slips later. Pretty curious what the various stages run. There are 3 for that SRT right? I am too diehard Chevy.. so pardon the bitter dissappointment when Chevy puts out the Cobalt with an inferior supercharger on a heavier car. (Though it looks MUCH better.)

Stage 1 is just a pcm for 04/05 cars. 03 gets injectors along with it. But the 04/05s get the stage 1 injectors stock. Stage 2 is a wga, map bar sensor, wga, and injectors. Stage 3 is a turbo/manifold, pcm, wga, map bar sensor, and guess what? injectors. Stage 2/3 have a 'with toys' option which has settings for race gas, and an intercooler sprayer. Let's say a stock srt-4 runs..14 flat@100mph. Stage 1 will run 13.9/8@101/2mph. Stage 2 without toys..probably low/mid 13s@104ish. Stage 2 with toys..solid low 13s@106ish. Stage 3..mid 12s@115ish. Though I've seen as fast as high 11s with "Just stage 3." But everyone keeps their shit a secret. That's why I don't just fork over all my time slips and dynos. Honestly, I keep that shit in a locked drawer. And so anyway..all those times are assuming you have no boost leaks and you have a competent driver. I'm not posting dynos..but if I go to the track tomorrow night I'll post some low boost botched runs.
