New owner here Maintance questions
New owner here - 2005 CR-V SE, the wife picked it out for her car. Nice driver, she get about 22-23mpg with 80-90% highway driving. A little less that we thought but she is happy.
My question: Is there any special technique to change the oil and filter? I heard about earlier models catching fire. I normally do my own oil changes, I have found I care much more about our cars than the dealer does. Also any ideas on the scheduled maintance and steps to complete. Also lots of road noise, anyone found a way to make these quite? Thanks

No trade as I enjoy getting to sleep under a roof. Thanks anyway. Now I might be intrested in trading my suburban...I have not driven it in over 2 weeks. Guess I'll put some stabill in the gas tank and park it for a while. Anybody got a bike I could borrow? .. well maybe not, I will just use one of the kids bikes.
