(3) Disconnect cable end from attachment stud.
Carefully slide cable off stud. Do not pry or pull

(7) Install retaining clip onto cable housing.

Re: Adjusting TV Cable

The above TV adjustment is for the 97 42/44RE. if you give me the year of your jeep, i can give you exact TV cable adjustment depending upon your exact transmission.

Re: Adjusting TV Cable

that would be the 46RH...

Here is a quick summary of the TV cable of for your tranny..

1. Disconnect the TV from the throttle lever.
2. Make sure the TV cable is end and stud is aligned (or centered on one another) to within 1/32" in either direction. - if it is not centered the the cable will need adjusted.
- to adjust it: There is a button on the end of the cable housing, where it clamps onto the throttle accessory bracket. push the button down and push or pull on the cable to bring the cable within spec, then reconnect the cable to the cable stud on the throttle lever.
4. Now with the help of an assistant you must check the movement on the throttle elver on the tranmission and the throttle body. - If both levers more simultaneously from idle- to half throttle - back to idle again, adjustment is correct. If tranmission lever moves ahead or lags behind the throttle lever, then cable must be adjuster/readjusted.

for more detailed prcedure email me.
