Question Super Charger

I Own A 99 Dodge Durango And Im Planning On Putting A Supercharger On It.. I've Looked At Different Website N None Says That There Is Any Additional Change To The Car Other Than Putting It On And Go. I've Also Heard That By Putting A Supercharger, I Need To Change The Tranny, Pulleys, N Stuff Like That Cuz A Stock Part Cant Take A Supercharger. Any Body Know Anything Aobut That? Help Is Appreciated

Supposedly the stock components should hold up to the bolt on supercharger that is custom configured by the manufacturer. Most users that I read that posted their experiences with their Durangos with supercharger did not make any modifications to the tranny, etc.

Remember, there are different classes of superchargers that manufacturers make. They make superchargers that can be bolted on and used on stock parts, and they make superchargers that are barely street legal and requires alot of modifications to hold up to that kind of power.
