Blower/ Fan Feedback Circut
Anyone have an idea what "feedback to high" on the blower/fan feedback circut error on a 96 GC could be. Haynes manual says to go to dealer if the codes aren't self explanatory. It is codes 08 and 40. Thanks much for any help you may be able to give.

Re: Blower/ Fan Feedback Circut
Thanks, I couldn't understand why a fan would have feedback and what importance it could make even if it was high? 35 years and sometimes it is more confusing now than ever before

Re: Blower/ Fan Feedback Circut
Not that it matters now, but high feedback could be very, very bad. It implies that the electronics are "out of synch" which could easily send enough volts to destroy that little computer they call an ATC. (Automatic Temperature Controller, or some such..)
If you think it's confusing now, just wait a few more years. Pretty soon all cars will be 'fly by wire' and you will need an electronics degree, and advanced programming skills, just to figure out what the dang thing is saying. Aaah progress! |
