Trouble with turbo at high boost

I have a 97 GS-T and I started having problems with my turbocharger, i think. At around 3/4 boost (stock turbo) i loose power quickly and the car bogs badly... I'm thinking the turbo might be going and it cant spin that quickly anymore. Do i need a new turbo or is there anything I can do? I searched for some insight but I couldnt find anything

There are so many things it could be before your turbo...

Things to check...

Plugs(corroded? fouled?)
Plug wires(Start up the car in a very dark place and watch for sparks)
Plug gap (.28-.32)
Coil pack(Mine was bad when I bought my car)
Boost leak(Many different ways to make a tester, check vfaq.com)
exhaust leak before the turbo(Crack in headers, missing studs, etc)
Fuel pump(If you have to replace this, just upgrade)
fuel filter(Comes with upgrade)
87 octane(If you're running this octane, that may be your answer)

If you have any questions about how to check any of these things you can PM me. Good luck!
