Can't locate directional flasher
I have a 2.4L 2000 Sunfire and the signal lights are flashing intermitently. I bought a new directional flasher unit but can't find the location of the existing unit. I would have thought the logical place would be in or near the fuse box on the side of the dash or the fuse box under the hood but no luck. Now I'm stumped. Can anyone help?

Re: Can't locate directional flasher
Have fun, lol. The turn signal flasher/relay is located behind the dash on the right of the insterment cluster. It is attached with one of those barbed things they use to hold door panels on with. the easiest way to locate it without ripping the dash apart (which i did
lol) is to lie with you're head under the stearing wheel turn on the flashers listen for the clicking, and reach up into where the clicking is comeing from, you will be able to reach it, and actualy feel the clicking when you've grabbed the right part, from there you have to work blind and feel the clip and plug for the wires, should be able to feel you're way to change it. Hope this helps
