air conditioning woes from a newbie
96 windstar 3.8L
Air conditioner quit today. Compressor clutch does not engage. Have power through the ac/max ac switch, and the AC Clutch fuse, no power to the 2 wire plug at the compressor; I unplugged it (compressor) and used a test light from a ground and tried both plug terminals to verify this. Did not jump across the terminals with the test light (figured one terminal had to be ground and the other hot when energized?) So... what could cause this?
