B18 or K20A2

Alright,

I have a '02 civic ex. I'm planning on doing a swap into either a B18 or a K20A2, but have yet to decide on which to go with. I've looked into the prices for the cost of the motor and all the wiring etc.

I'm also planning on going with a Greddy turbo kit with a Hondata ECU. Still, haven't chosen a motor. I'd love to hear your opinion on which route would be the best way to go.

Thanks in advance everyone,

Re: B18 or K20A2

I hate to sound like a dick *ok I lied to you* but if you really did any research you'd not need us at all and just start your swap.

Its that simple they both offer ups and downs that you should know if you looked into it.

Why was this post needed did you want reviews from people who have done them or what? Honestly your post is kinda anwsering it self.

Ok, I see that my post was sorta redundant. What I meant was that I researched the specs on the engines. They both do have pros and cons. I was looking for opinion here, and if anyone knew what engine would benefit more from the greddy kit and the hondata ECU.

Thanks a ton. I'm leaning towards the K.

I remember you. I had an old account here a long time ago, you helped me out with something a while back.

Re: B18 or K20A2

the k is an overall better motor, but more of a pain than a b series

What do you mean by pain. Is it more of a pain to swap in or what?

Wait, you have an 02' Go with the K. I thought it was "illegal" to put an older engine in a newer car.
