Re: '05 switched power wire under dash

I keep justifying it by telling my twins that I just want to know where the police are hiding when they try to help me. That is helping empty my wallet, helping me stay in the slow zone and help me make sure the other guy gets slingshot past me into the trap.....

Re: '05 switched power wire under dash

Maybe I SAID IT WRONG. I am looking for a wire that is hot when the ignition is on, and Off when the ignition is off. I am under the steering column trying to find a hot for my radar unit. Where is the wire located and what is the color code so I can find it?

Thank You

you want the accesory wire which is orange or you can use pink which is the ignition. it doesnt matter which one you use. they will both work and they should be a larger diameter wire than most. and will be located in the steering column under the metal shield in the under dash.
