Map light screws
I just bought a 2005 Odyssey, and want to wire my radar detector into the overhead map light assembly. I found the 2 rear screws, but cannot figure out how to loosen the front ones. Are they above the map light bulbs? if so, how do I get the lenses off without breaking them?
9/13/05 update: Problem solved. The Map light assembly was removed after I found the secret to removing the map light lenses, which revealed the location of the screws. Although the owners manual does not discuss it, the lenses (which turn on the lamps when depressed) can be snapped out with a very thin screwdriver, without damaging anything. The mounting screws can then be removed and the maplight assembly will drop down for service.
