Sandpaper and water, rub gently. What do you want to know?

Re: Wet sanding

Use a little dish detergent in the water...just a little. Watch the edges, as you will rub through them first. Make sure the surface is clean before you start, and stays contaminant (dust, dirt) free as much as possible. Work slowly, and check often by drying the area from time to time.

Re: Wet sanding

If it is for a final finish, I usually start with 1500, which is a little agressive, so you have to be careful. I think give a quick sand with 2000, and then rub it out with compounds.
