Hi all
I am having problems with my 1996 gc, the power antenna has been playing up for a few weeks now and its doing my head in

I have been working away from home for the summer and this means that I leave my car for days on end without using it. Everytime I came to start the car after it had been left for a while it became harder and harder to start until in the end it had no juice to start, I suspected a dead battery.
I managed to get the car started, but had one of the worst journeys of my life, with the cutting out at the slightest hint of a bit of motorway traffic. I managed to limp home with my brother following me home for the last part of the journey for backup. Once home we both agreed the battery was suspect so I went straight out and purchased a new one, guess what, the car drove like new no problems at all.
I wondered what had caused my battery to drain so quickly, surley leaving the car for a few days wouldn't do it, and even if it had the long drive home would have charged her up again.
It wasn't until this week that I realised what the problem was, the power antenna was running constantly once you had left the car. It was ok when it was going up, the motor would stop, but when powering down the motor would run and run.
So my question is this, is there a single fuse that is just for the power antenna because I have checked in the manual and I cannot find one. I want to get rid of the power to the antenna, but will this involve disconnecting it??
Cheers in advance for any help
Tim
