Red LED on Radio Blinking 2005 Impala

The LED that displays the security system arm/disarm status never stops slowly blinking. Does not seem to depend on if the doors are locked or not. If I walk out into the garage hours after using the car, it is still blinking slowly with the doors unlocked. Is that normal? The book does not have much info on it.

that light will always blink unless the car is on, no matter if the doors are unlocked or locked. its nothing to worry about.

the light isnt for the security system, it is a warning light about the radio, if you steal the radio from an impala, it wolnt work, unless it is programed to the specific car.
