Wireing

Hey. Does anyone know if the 2002 3.5 Aurora has any electrical connections in the trunk that are always hot that I can tap into?

My 98 has a power antenna. Also under my rear seat is the battery which can be easily accessed from the trunk.

Hmm. Well, the 02 doesn't have a power attenna. It's 2 atennae are embedded in the front and rear windshield. As for the battery, I knew where it was. Just didn't really want to have to go through all the trouble of taking the back seat out just to get to it...But, I may end up doing that anyhow. But, I'm still going to look for other solutions. Besides, the Bazooka Amp/Woofer that I want to install only has a 50 watt amp built it. I dunno, I don't need 8 or 4 guage wires. Just 14 guage. Hmm...I'l let you know what I ended up doing after I install the amp later today. Thanks again.

I got my amp installed today. Decided to connect it directly to the battery. I will tell you one thing. It was NOT easy to route the wires from the battery compartment into the trunk. The 02 is sealed up very tightly. I did eventually manage to snake my power cables through some small openings.
