Car wont start...

The past couple days car dies right after start up...And today it wouldnt start unless I gave it some gas. Fuel Filter or injectors is my first guess.

Check them. Also try cleaning the MAFS. Sounds like a rich condition.

Ive heard people say clean the MAFS...what part do you clean the little filament? or the outer inside?

I cleaned my MAFS awhile ago, i used some Q-tips, rubbing alcohol. First i remove the MAFS, put some alcohol on the Q-tips and carfully cleaned in the MAFS. Becareful not to touch the little sensor inside. Ive cleaned about 4 MAFS and they turned out well. good luck

BTW if cleaning dosent work, your MAFS has probably gone faulty

BTW it might not be the MAFS...it runs fine and strong once its started and seems to be once it warms up its fine...

hm maybe your AIV needs to be cleaned.
go to www.240sx.org , faqs then look for servicing the AIV. good luck
