I've know of people using a transparent/tinted paint on their tailights to smoke them, they just used some stuff you can get at a local hobby store, but i forgot what it was called

:o The best place I have seen this done at is a body shop if there is a young guy working there he will no what to do I have been charged $35 per side & he does it in the paint booth so no lint will crawl up on your wet paint + they will polish the final result so it looks stock.

Take your time & go to difrent body shops they shall be able to help you out with this stiuation.

Check the shops that do body mods they are your best bet.

you mean like my car? i did it myself, pretty easy if you do it right. you can order smoke spray from several places, but make sure you get the actual paint spray, not the film spray. the film spray is pretty cheap cause it allows you to tear it off if you want to. the paint spray is permenant.

To keep the Berries of your arse do a couple of light coats so you kind see a little red it should look nice I have seen some AMG benzes come from the factory with a lite tint to them those tails look sweet on the silver AMG's with that lite tint.

Doesn't restrict the brake light when bracking at all!:flash:

autotoys.com has it for 9 something a can i did it to mine 6 months ago and everything is fine. the lowrider civc crowd dont like it but i do so they can just deal with it . oh and the clear corners and stoplights..THATS a retro thing. up untill the mid thirtys you didnt see red taillights on high end luxuray cars just low powered versions of the headlights . oh and if you want to run LED bulbs in there be careful they arent as bright as a regular 1157 bulb it looks like they are made for the retro clear lights

The paint was surprisingly hard to get in Phoenix. Only one of like six performance shops here had it. It cost me like 15 bucks. The only hard part was determining how long to let the paint set (as the can I had was written in Japanese). I just let it set for 24 hours and there fine.
