bad problem with 95 sunfire tranny/clutch?

So, last night I was driving my 95 sunfire 2.2 5spd, and for no particular reason all of a sudden 1st gear became 3rd, 2nd became 4th, 3rd became 5th, 4th won't go into gear and just grinds even with the clutch in (like shifting into reverse), 5th acts as 5th, and downshifting from 5th is fine. However, when I get back to 1st and stop, then try to start moving again, it's like starting in 3rd gear again. It's a huge pain and I have no idea what to do. I'm hoping it's something inexpensive, as I'm low on funds...though by the looks of it, it doesn't seem like it will be. Reverse works fine, by the way. It's like everything just slid to the left, though there's no further left to go.
A little back story...
1st and 2nd have been a little difficult to shift into for a little while now, and every now and then reverse would pop out(what should be 1st and 2nd now shift into gear perfectly, which is also really strange to me). Last weekend I went to a jamband festival out near Ithaca, NY that was at the top of a 1.5 mile incline. This wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't stop-and-go the whole way up the mountain(about an hour and a half). I'm pretty sure I beat up my clutch a decent bit on that hike, but there were no bad signs afterward on the drive home or any subsequent driving and it was all of a sudden last night that this problem occured.
Please someone offer some advice if you could, I'm really in need here!

If that's all, it shouldn't be too bad then.
*here's to hoping*
