Whats up. I have a 90 civic hb SI with 104k. It runs strong and I love the car. I am in need of new front rotors because my car is becoming hard to get to stop..... either it takes forever to stop, or my breaks lock up cuz i push em too hard. So I need to know what size our rotors are, and what other year civics, or crx's or any othe car has the same rotors that i could go pull some from. Also u guys all are looking for easy upgrades for ur civic's..... On your intake, u will prob have one hose coming out of your intake box, one which runs to the front of the car, and the other which runs down to a box. If u look at those box's they have a pin sized hole for suckin air through, that is really restrictive to air flow. I pulled tha box off and drilled holes in my airbox, then dropped in a K&N. And i have noticed a deffinite increase in throttle responce and higher airflow.
Thanks for the help guys |

You can get brand new rotors for like $100, probably cheaper for stock replacements.
And we are all aware of restrictive air boxes. Thats why most of us have gotten rid of them all together.

I picked up power stops for around $30. powerstops are good because they don't rust so they don't look bad.

Hey Lil Dougy - welcome to the board.
Just remove that goofy box altogether and go with a Cold Air Intake. I recently bought Powerslot rotors for about $65/each and I love them. They work great. My Civic has 193K on it, and I probably put 4 sets of OEM rotors on it before I got tired of them warping. Later

Cross Drilled will only crack under exremely sever conditions. Like 2 hour autoxing or maybe if you have to ride your brakes for a long time down hill, but even then it is doubtful.
