2006 Civic Si Pics

I want to know what everyone thinks about this new car. I have a few friends that work at Honda, and its not expected into the showrooms until December 2005. They are only going to make 15,000 of these, and the stickers on the base without navigation is $21,200, with navigation is $23,200. Let me know what you think.

Re: 2006 Civic Si Pics

i had already seen pics of the new si, and i must say thay look great to me. now if the rumors are true and it has the 200hp motor, which still isnt enough to compete with its competitors, it will still be a good car.

after seeing the real thing, i had seen concept pics, the front end looks like a saturn ion, and the rear is a scion TC/accord mix. if it really does retail for under 20, then i think they may have a winner.

i like the front of it, but to me the rear looks to much like a rear of an accord, i would be interested in seeing how heavy this car is

Re: 2006 Civic Si Pics

i'd like to know wht it weighs too.... 200hp could be plenty depending on the weight.... be nice to see closer to 240hp though. we know Honda can do that. idk y they wouldn't.

I think the designers at Honda have ran out of GOOD ideas. It looks like they cut a TSX and Accord in 1/2 and made a new car by sticking them together. They better increase the output of the engine to make up for it. At least it's starting to get cool things like navigation though.

Re: 2006 Civic Si Pics

honda needs toi make a sub 20 tho car with like 230hp so they can atleast compete with the neon.

bring the fit over here and put the RSX 210hp motor in it or something.

Don't like the looks. Though I can't complain about 200hp.

yea entry level cars need this...

its shit like that that ruins hondas current civic.

compare a 3rd gen SI 4th gen SI or 5th gen SI to a 6th, 7th gen or new 8 thgen

3,4,5, > light little pep nothing flashy real drivers car 6 7 8 > heavy little pep scream look at me bland drivers

any car can be made fast but trust me my little 4th gen stock was able to light up anyones face with a smile while the last 7th gen i drove felt like a mid 90s impalla. fuck my jeep is more fun then them.

Honda is not near its roots and fuck 1/4 times car still a bore to drive and that will lose them sales plus its not fast nor cheap so why buy a honda?

the big 3 in the US is just learning this and putting out some badass rides while all the japaness makers are walking into the USs old slump.
