P code P1345

Crank position sensor Cam position sensor corilation error. Has anyone had this problem? If so what was the fix? Truck is a 99 silvy with 143,000 on a 5.7L Vortec. The motor turns over fine there is spark and I have 60psi of fule pressure at the rail. At first a thought it may be the timing chain but it seems like it would at least backfire or something if the timing chain jumpped.

I had this code pop up after I changed out the intake manifold gaskets (requires removeing distributor). If its off a tooth the VCM will correct itseft to adapt to the change. Meaning it will run fine but this code will pop up and will not clear untill dist. is put back in proper way. I have a step by step dianostic chart for this code, if you want I could e-mail to you in JPG format.

I seemed to have deleted it off my hard drive. I have it in paper copies. I could mail it to you (you should leave your address in my private messages, not here). I have a scanner, but it does not seem to work right. The postage stamp is on me, I think I can afford 37 cents.

You hate it when people post earlier years in this forum. Why does this bother you so much? I knew he was in wrong forum, but I don't take it personally.

Maybe they need to change the top of the page then. Or you need to read my post where i stated the truck was a 99.

The reason people don't like it when others post 98-previous questions and comments is that they are inappropriate in this forum, and many of us don't have clue 1 when it comes to the earlier trucks
