|
What color for my 300ZX?
Decided to repaint my 300ZX (being my first model it had a horrible paint job. Painted it chrome, with the idea that I'll later put a transparent body color over it. Please help me decide which transparent color, to paint it, I don't know yet, leaning toward Boyd's Aluma Yellow Pearl. Thanks. Pic below
 I hope to get something like the wheel below, but for the entire body

Well im sorry but i have to go with Ranger on this and say Red too.
I nice deep red.

i've never tried the chrome silver base with transparent color technique so i dont know what it would look like.
 but how 'bout using transparent smoke? that would be interesting too... just a thought. if not, my vote is for the red.

oh my god, how can anyone not love red fairladies?
here's a sweet one with a body kit:  It's one of the few vehicles I'd actually get in red. Pearl yellow is a pretty nice color for them too:  A good custom color would be a bright orange-red.

For me the only Z's are 280Z's. I only want to see them in black or blue. I've never seen a red one and don't want to see one. Heck, I don't really like red cars. Red is my favorite color, but I don't like it on cars. I like sleeper cars and red gets WAAAAY too much attention.

Thanks for the votes/replies everyone. I'm gonna do it Transparent Blue. Just sprayed a scrap piece of chrome and Blue looks the best, followed by Red, then Orange. Pics coming soon
