I have owned an 85 blazer, and my speedometer has not worked since i owned it. My buddy said there was a speedometer cable that could be disconected...does anyone know where this wire connects to, what it looks like, etc? thanx

Re: Speedometer problem

I would imagine the back of the speedo. If its connected just follow it and make sure the end is plugged in another place.

Re: Speedometer problem

Honestly, no idea. I would imagine that if it is connected to something it should be in the right place. If its not connected to anything then you've doune your problem.

The other end should connect to VSS (vehicle speed sensor) usually located on the transmission tail housing.
