Can Someone Help Me out With Some ECU Codes?
First off, I have a '97 Cherokee Auto 2WD. My step-dad was able to get the codes off the car which are PO700-Transmission Control System Malfunction & PO705-Transmission Range Sensor. Can someone help me with what these codes mean? I apprieciate any help. Thanks, Laura

Re: Can Someone Help Me out With Some ECU Codes?
The PO705 is Transmission Range Sensor Circuit malfunction (PRNDL Input). This may be connected to the shift lever position some how.
The PO700 may or maynot be tied to the 705 code. These codes are not a definite pointer to a specific component - more of a "look in this area" kinda thing. JD |
