Question about Air Filter

Hi, I got a 1989 240SX with a KA24E engine, and iīm about to put a Air Filter in it (K&N type).
I will take the stock air filter box off, but thereīs a problem, where will i conect the valve that is currently attached to the box?

If you have pictures, please put them here or send them to me.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Question about Air Filter

You can take that whole thing out, but make sure you have something to plug the hole in the exhaust.

Re: Question about Air Filter

either that or put a mini filter on it. that'll make it sound like there's an exhaust leak but it also cuts down on emissions

Re: Question about Air Filter

Which reminds me, that hose had ahole in it so I thought I'd replace it, to my surprise, someone had jammed a spark plug in that hose.
