Interesting...

http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=16182
Just pisses me off that the I-6 is rated the same or a little better than the 5.3 in my '02... Oh well, guess I'll have to break down and buy a new one in a few years...

Re: Interesting...

WOW! 355hp for a stock 5.3? Was I reading that right. I don't get how only 10hp seperates the 2004 4.8 and 5.3, and now it's 55hp.

Well, look at it this way: The first rule of new car buying is never buy a vehicle the first year a new body style is out; they usually still have a few bugs to work out. So, at that point, it would put you at the '08 model year, and I'm sure you'll be ready to buy a new one not too much longer than that. You just dumped your '02 in favor of a '05... 3 years difference there. '08 is gonna be the next time to buy, so if you dump your '05 for an '08, your looking at the same lifespan for this truck as your '02. You're golden!

Re: Interesting...

You´re already taking the oil buddy, three tankers bound for Galveston every day, and you´re not paying a dime to rebuild anything, sorry to burst your "all american hero" bubble.

CNN shouldn´t be the only news service you watch. Don´t get offended but your troops should be back in New Orleans, taking care of their families, by the way, two transport ships with 350 mexican troops along with 250 tons of aid including bottled water, 7 anphibian vehicles, food, trucks, MI-17 helicopters and doctors are on their way to the Mississippi Delta to help out.
