i was on my way to school today heading on I64 east and just got past the 1 lane road construction and i had been watching this white '05 mustang behind me and i could see a body kit on it but thats all i could see....after the road construction it got back to 2 lanes and he pulled up beside me and i looked over and saw the S281 badge and he nailed it and i tried my best to keep up but damn.............after about 15 seconds he was up a car length and just kept pulling away so i backed off, i know he was just messing with me keeping it that close.....damn....that car was awesome!

lol sadly just a 98 3.8l a4, we've done a few things and have it closer to 250 hp now but still nothing for a saleen obviously

this wasnt the SC version....i looked it up and cant find a 1/4 time but they had only 325 horsepower and 340 lb/ft torque....wow i would have thought it would have been a lot more especially for the price tag...

Well if he had S281 badges, that means it's pushing out 500hp. So if you were on his ass he wasn't racing.

hell i dont remember ford making no 500hp poney, i must have missed that sticky on my desk. hell my roush didnt even have close to that. and u kept up with that car with a 3.8? hmm must have put a bit of flow in that ride

no way it made 500 horsepower, the supercharged ones dont even come close to 500 horsepower...it was definately one hell of a car and i even said that i thought he was just playing with me by only beating me by that little in an earlier post, im not trying to say i could beat one...yes i got beat...here's the site i looked at tho http://www.muscularmustangs.com/05saleen03.php i just thought it was neat that i got to race one

The SC version is pushing out 400HP/420TQ.. not close to 500.. but whats so special about Saleen Mustangs aside from the bodykit it's just regular Mustang.

I would love to have a go at it. Last mustang I tried to race wouldn't race me. He had some type of wolfe racing package thing on it but it sounded good.
