PCV Location
I have a 2001 Rodeo, 2.2L engine.
I have been unable to locate the PCV. Does anyone know where it is? |

I'm not sure on the 1998+ 4cyl, but search around the valve cover for a hose or fitting threaded/inserted thru the cover. It's possible the 2.2L only has a flow metered hose that goes from the V-cover to the intake, or the PCV valve may be inline on that hose if not in the cover. You will have two hoses to the valve cover. One is the breather, that will be connected downstream of the airfilter, the other will be the PCV, which will go to the intake, downstream of the throttle body.
G/luck Joel

Re: PCV Location
There is no valve on the 2.2l, just the system. I dont't think there is anything to check. There is a hose from the intake box that goes to the crankcase. Another hose goes from the crankcase to the intake manifold.

Well, that explains why I couldn't find it.
Thanks. |
